Muscular Pain

About muscular pain...

Often pains are associated with muscles, ligaments, tendons or the soft tissues (5a,b) and are the result of injury or trauma (5c). Muscular aches can affect more than one muscle at a time (5a), for example, both shoulder pain and calf pain are common occurrences in sports injuries (16a, 14b, c).

Generalised aches and pains (especially in the back and legs) may also be a symptom of colds and flu (21)

How Ibuprofen helps...

Ibuprofen is an effective treatment for rapid pain relief (18a) and is effective in controlling pain and inflammation in a variety of inflammatory and painful conditions (18b), such as general muscular pain, muscular pain as a result of muscle trauma or injury (5c) and muscular pain associated with colds and flu (21). Effective (18b, 20a), well-tolerated (18c) and with a favourable safety profile (18d), Ibuprofen is the active ingredient in Nurofen Tablets.
